Informal: Learning music, guitar, public speaking
Year 2009
I think, not much I can do this year. As previous year, I will spend most of the time to study and stay at my second home, library. However, I plan to study music and learn how to play guitar. I already look at the classes and hopefully I'm gonna start soon. Faiz, your planning to form a band really exhilarates me. Let me be the guitarist!
Year 2010
Like last year, I'm gonna spend my time to study. This is my final year for Bachelor Degree. I'll struggle to meet all the exemptions to finish Part I. Hopefully I can. Besides, I'm gonna develop my skill and knowledge in music and playing guitar. Also, I'm gonna start to learn dancing. I love it and at least I know how to dance. I know it may sound funny, but I want to do ballroom dance during my wedding day. I don't care! I should start applying to extend one more year studying in Macquarie as I have to do Master next year. Hope MARA will give me permission!
Year 2011
Actually, I don't really mind if I cannot do Master. Master is only one way to finish Part II. The most important is I can finish Part II to allow me to get AIAA as planned. The other way (which more preferrable) is to do non-award studies. This means I just have to study the required subjects to compete Part II. It's only 2 subjects. So I have a lot of time this year if i were to do non-award studies. So I also plan to do CFA here. Since CFA requires me to study by my own, I think I can manage my ample time to study it. There are 3 exams I need to get pass. I believe, within one year, I can complete it all. Also, I'll participate Public Speaking Club this year. I want to enhance my speaking skill.
Year 2012
Supposedly, I already have BComm (Actuarial) , AIAA, CFA and MComm (Actuarial). I plan to study in Malaysia. I want to try different environment of studies and I want to try it in Malaysia. I'm concerned that I really like corporate world and I'm gonna involve in managerial position. As soon as I come back to Malaysia, I'll register to do MBA (finance) at UPM. The duration is 18 months and I'm gonna do full-time. The cost is RM 20,000. I'll look for scholarship or loan, if there is. In the same time, I'm gonna do CFP at KDU, the cost is about RM 10,000. This one, I'll use my own money.
Year 2013
I already finish my MBA and CFP. So the journey for my career begins!
Coming Years
I'm gonna find position as an Actuary in financial firms. I'm gonna be CFO and CEO. Hopefully I'm gonna be the youngest to be in those 2 positions. Finally, I'll construct my own firm or company. I really hope can work with Kak Jas, Ayoi and Faiz at the time. Maybe we can utilize our specializations to enhance the progress of the company. Supposedly, the firm will operate in financial sector. Later on, we may move to the next level by venturing into real estate sector. With God willing, at least one of us is gonna be one of the richest individuals in Malaysia even world.
